Hear from Kindred Members

I’ve tried out several different spiritual/witchcraft circles and this is by far the best. There is just so much to engage with and learn from. I’m really grateful to be part of it!
The classes are great, and I love the astrology forecasts, but I think what I love most is how it feels like a really intentional, supportive space. It’s really clear Erin wants members to feel like they are part of a supportive and safe community. It’s pretty lovely.
The workshops are all so great even though I’ve only been able to catch replays so far, and it generally just feels like a great group of people. My very favorite thing is the astrology updates each month.
All of this is just magical and perfect. I cannot believe I have been a member for a few months and have been missing out on ALL. OF. THIS.

This is exactly what I’ve needed and never even knew.

The Witches Behind the Club

Erin Harker, Head Witch & Fairy Godmother

Hi there! I’m Erin, the founder of The Magick Makers and The Kindred Club. My belief that there’s magick in each and everyone of us led me to create these spaces for witches and spiritually-inclined folks to gather with one another. I’ve had plenty of support along the way in reconnecting with my own practice, and I wanted to share the magick of community with others.

Most recently, you’ll find me crafting herbal smoking blends, sharing resources on different esoteric topics, mixing up flower and crystal essences, and rediscovering my passions for kitchen witchery.

As I continues my path, I have found my passions lie within rituals of hearth and home, hedge witchery, tarot, symbology, and walking between the worlds. I treasure weaving practical magick into daily life and uncovering the layers of connection between different practices. I currently lead a charmed life in Durham, North Carolina.

Andrea Webb, Resident Astro-Herbalist

Hello ~ my name is Andrea {Andi; she/they} Webb and I am a place-based Astroherbalist {I work with people, plants AND planets} who offers holistic wellness support for human souls and the bodies they haunt.

I have a tool kit that includes Vitalist herbal traditions, land-embodied astrology, dynamic flower essence therapy, and over two decades of hands-on experience. I have a small private practice on Wabanaki Land in the Kennebec Valley of Maine and am the Instigating Witch behind the Herbal Heathen Mentorship Program, a seasonal educational opportunity for Heathens, Hedge-dwellers and Heretics to study herbalism and weave wellness within Community.

I am of Taino and Irish descent, the mother of boys, a huge fan of big CGI monster movies and a lover of terrible cats. When I’m not gazing into birth charts or hanging out with my plant kin, I can be found cooking, knitting, or listening to music that would make my mother blush.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We only have one “tier” available in our community to create equal access for all members regardless of financial contribution. This is our way of recognizing that there are many ways to contribute to a community and creating more access.

When you register, you have the option to contribute $10, $25, or $50 monthly as well as some annual options that include one month free. You’re encouraged to pay what is comfortable and reasonable for you.

There is no long-term commitment and you can cancel your membership anytime. We do offer one month free for annual subscriptions at the two higher contribution levels.

  • Your membership fees help to provide financial compensation for the people who manage and contribute to the community (guest speakers, monthly contributors, community managers).

Your fees also help to cover the costs associated with hosting our space - platform fees, payment processing fees, software, equipment, and time.

As we have more financial resources available, we’ll continue to invest them back into the community.

  • Of course we hope you’ll come on in and stay for a while (and over 93% of our members do), we also know life and circumstances can change.

Your membership is month-to-month and you’re able to cancel or change your membership at anytime in your account.

We hope you’ll stick around for a few seasons, but you can stay as long or as little as you’d like. Our door is always open if you decide to return.

  • We have! We believe that there are many different ways to contribute to a community besides just financial capital. We’re currently researching and learning from other community spaces who have created systems that honor different forms of contributions, so we can apply those here one day.

In the meantime, we’ve created a scaled pricing structure to allow more people to be able to join and have access to the resources we share in the community. Regardless of which pricing option you choose, you’ll have access to our full library of content, resources, workshops, and live events.

We still believe it’s important to have a gate to our community. While all are welcome here, a monthly investment offers a layer of safety for our members and the magick we share. Our practices are sacred and this community was created to offer a more intimate, nurturing experience for those who are looking to develop their own practices without being completely in the public eye.

Plus, boundaries, reciprocity, and accountability are important.

  • Yep! Mostly this just felt right if we truly wanted to offer more accessibility through our scaled pricing. We trust that our members contribute what they can and what feels reasonable to them for access to our space and resources. It also makes it much easier for us behind the scenes to host the community.

  • Of course! This isn’t a witch-specific community or space. We’ll definitely chat about witchy, spiritual, and mystical practices here, but all are welcome regardless of your identity.

Many of our resources are geared towards folks who are just beginning to explore ritual and magick, and searching for a more mindful and intentiooal lifestyle.

Our core focus in the community is bringing our magick into our daily lives. The community is rooted in simple, earthly practices that can be relevant to anyone with an open mind and a bit of belief in the magick of the world around us.

  • No way! As long as you’re open to magick, you’re welcome here. We have members who are men, women, and gender fluid.

  • We’ve got you covered! Our members reside in all different time zones and corners of the world, so it won’t always be feasible for everyone to join live sessions. We make replays and recordings available within a few days of our live events, so everyone can receive the wisdom shared. We also offer the opportunity to submit questions in advance, so you can get your questions answered whether or not you attend live.

Live events will be hosted on a variety of days and times as our guests are also from all around the world! (How cool is that!?) So while you may not be able to make every event, we’re pretty confident there will be live events that fit into your schedule.

If you’re looking for the community aspect available during live sessions, we also have a members-only community space where you can share, ask questions, support each other, and connect anytime.

  • You are welcome to do whatever feels comfortable to you! Many people do turn their cameras on but just as many keep them off. We’re a pretty fun, supportive group, so we certainly hope you’ll feel comfortable enough to be seen and heard. We also respect and recognize that you might prefer to be present without being on camera. It’s truly whatever feels best to you.
